Grimm, Offenburg, c. 1880 - in or before 1885, Baden-Württemberg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, paper, collotype, photoprint, height 233 mm x width 149 mm, minerals and metals, A vertical sheet with six circular black-and-white photographic discs arranged in three rows and two columns, each disc showing different textured microscopic patterns; the top left disc contains irregular dark blotches and thin linear scratches on a lighter background, the top right disc shows a paler central area with darker irregular rim and small clustered dark shapes near the center, the middle left disc displays angular dark fragments and faint diagonal streaks on a lighter field, the middle right disc is filled with numerous small oval dark shapes and faint fibrous lines, the bottom left disc has a dense mosaic of rectangular and blocky dark marks, and the bottom right disc shows a roughly circular lighter central region surrounded by a mottled dark border; small numerals appear beneath each disc and a line of printed text is visible along the bottom margin.
