The scene features a series of ledges and platforms cut into the rock, with visible tool marks and exposed strata. Small groups of figures stand and work on various levels, some near simple wooden frameworks and carts, and a few animals are present on the higher terraces. Narrow paths and ramps connect the different levels, and ropes or lines hang down one section of the rock face. The sky above is pale and unobstructed, and the image has a textured, aged appearance.
