Diptych of Clementinus consul of the East AD 513, photograph, page, number: 'Plate XXIII', c. 1858 - in or before 1868, photographer, paper, albumen print, height 197 mm x width 64 mm, ruler, sovereign, sculpture (relief, sculpture), A tall carved stone panel is shown with a central seated figure wearing layered garments and holding a staff, flanked by two standing figures with ornate clothing and headpieces, all beneath a round emblem and a cross; above them are two circular portrait medallions, and below the seated figure are decorative lion-like legs and a stepped platform; the lower section depicts two small cherubic figures with raised arms standing among carved decorative elements and rounded objects, and the panel is mounted on a pale background with slight spotting.
