In the foreground several figures wear elaborate gowns and coats with ruffles and embroidered patterns, some standing close together while others engage with a man holding a bowl and a cleric in dark robes. Behind them a canopy-topped structure and rows of seated and standing figures fill the middle ground, with musicians or attendants visible near it. Large decorative chandeliers hang from the ceiling, and a pulpit with a figure leaning from it is visible to the right
