Horses are harnessed and ridden by armored figures, their bodies rendered with shading and crosshatching. In the background, smaller figures stand atop the arch waving or gesturing, while a group of onlookers gathers near the archway. Decorative standards, draped fabric, and ornate reliefs on the arch are visible, and the sky is filled with horizontal hatching. The composition is dense with overlapping figures and objects, rendered in fine engraved lines and tonal variation.
