The central figure reclines with a wide-brimmed hat resting near them and a hand holding a small object, wearing a fitted jacket and a skirt with folds. To the right a person with an elaborate ruffled collar leans close, head tilted and eyes downcast, with textured hair and richly patterned sleeves. A third figure behind them has a rounded hairstyle and looks downward while clasping something. Architectural columns and carved stonework rise behind the group, and a draped fabric and various decorative vessels and a large round hat occupy the foreground, with intricate linework shading throughout.
