According to a note on the verso, the print was located on p. 78 of this album., cupids: 'amores', 'amoretti', 'putti', river-gods, symbolic representations, allegories and emblems, poetry, 'Poesia' (Ripa), Rhine, Waal (river), A detailed black and white engraving shows a partially draped female figure standing and holding a shallow basket of flowers while extending a hand to a seated muscular male figure who leans back with a flowing cloth around his waist and a large vessel tilted beside him pouring water. Two winged cherubic children hover above the seated man, one placing flowers on his head and the other leaning close, while two more young children play on the ground nearby among foliage and scattered blossoms. The scene is set against a rocky, tree-filled landscape with textured shading, prominent tree trunks framing the composition, and varied plant life in the foreground and background.
