In front of the dark opening a crouching figure leans forward, their head bowed and arms wrapped, rendered with fine cross-hatching. To the left a seated figure faces slightly toward the center, draped in loose clothing and depicted with delicate line work. The foreground contains tangled lines suggesting rough ground and scattered organic forms, with clusters of tall grasses rising on either side. The background is largely empty, with faint scratches and curved etching marks across the upper area and tall, textured vertical strokes framing the scene at the far left and right edges.
