A tall tree with a twisted trunk and dense leafy canopy rises to the right, its trunk rendered in reddish-brown tones and its foliage in dark greens and ochres. To the left a slimmer tree with lighter foliage stands against a pale, slightly speckled sky where a few small birds are visible in flight. In the foreground a grassy area with patches of bare earth and low vegetation stretches across, and a small figure stands near the base of the right-hand tree, dressed in dark clothing. The overall palette is earthy with soft, worn textures and subtle variations in tone.
