Dóll, 1801., meeting of soldiers and, or officers, An engraved scene showing a group of men in historical military-style clothing gathered around a table in a room with tall paneled walls and decorative garlands. Several seated men wear bicorne hats and uniforms with sashes and buttons, one seated figure holds a sword with its tip on the floor and rests an arm on the table, while another seated figure leans forward, pointing at papers on the covered table. A standing man in a decorated coat and boots faces the seated group with one hand on his hip and the other holding a sword; his hair appears tousled. The table is draped with a cloth and has papers or maps spread across it. The background shows vertical and horizontal lined wall patterns and simple architectural moldings. The image is monochrome with finely hatched shading and crosshatching throughout.
