This series comprises virtually the artist's complete oeuvre and consists of 48 prints, mainly designs for ceilings., cupids: 'amores', 'amoretti', 'putti', (story of) Venus (Aphrodite), sitting or standing on clouds - AA - female human figure, An oval ink drawing shows a reclining female figure on a bed of clouds, her hair flowing and one arm bent across her chest while the other reaches toward a cluster of arrows held by a small winged child beside her; another winged child lies curled against her legs, and a third winged child floats below offering a sprig of foliage; the scene is rendered with fine cross-hatching and curved lines to depict folds of fabric, billowing clouds, and soft shading throughout.
