On the far bank there are trees and bushes lining the river, with a grassy field extending back from the water. Behind the trees a church with a square tower and pitched roof is partially visible, and nearby there is a cottage with a pitched roof, chimneys, and windows, some climbing plants on its walls. The image has a soft, slightly faded appearance and an empty sky above the treeline.
