There were collector albums in circulation specially produced for the 'blackies'., tales and fairy tales: Little Red Riding-hood, tales and fairy tales: Little Thumbling, A vertically oriented aged paper sheet shows six framed rectangular illustrations arranged in two columns and three rows, each illustration mounted within decorative corner holders and surrounded by thin borders; the top area contains a large heading and a line of smaller text beneath it, both centered. The top left illustration depicts a winding forest path with tall trees and a group of small figures moving along the path while another small figure stands lower on the slope. The top center image shows a clearing in a dense forest with several standing figures gathered together and trees towering behind them. The top right picture shows a building with a balcony or ledge and a figure leaning over while light or a pale area extends downward toward vegetation and a stair or terrace. The middle left illustration shows a young girl standing beside a large animal with a basket in her hand at the edge of a wooded area. The middle center image depicts an interior scene with a figure in bed or seated and a dark animal or large creature nearby.
