The top border shows a wide band with dark shading and rectangular panels, and below it the grid is arranged in two narrow vertical columns of framed vignettes separated by a central vertical strip. The left column displays scenes including forested river views with trees on rocky banks, a snowy wooded clearing, a calm lake bordered by conifers, a mountain valley with a small cabin among trees, and a scene of a horse and rider with a second horse nearby. The right column contains scenes of country roads and travelers with horses and carts in wooded terrain, groups of animals and people moving along forested paths, a roadside gathering with figures and carts, a hilly landscape with distant mountains and scattered trees, and a coastal or tropical scene with tall slender palms and low buildings. Each vignette is enclosed by a narrow lighter mat and a darker outer frame, and narrow vertical bands with small rectangular labels separate rows. The overall page has an aged, slightly yellowed paper texture with faint wear along the edges.
