A bearded man stands near the center holding another man's hand while looking outward; a man nearby leans on a staff with his head bowed. Several figures are kneeling or bent over on the tiled floor, one clutching his face and another prostrate with boots visible. To the right a seated man looks up toward the standing group, and behind him more men and helmets or hats are partially visible in shadow. The stone blocks of the wall show mortar lines and textured surfaces, and the floor is marked by tiles and cracks.
