One man, wearing a hat and coat, leans forward holding a spoon and appears to be stirring or serving from a vessel, while the other man, seated closer to the viewer and wearing a brimmed cap, faces him and holds a sheet or folded object. On the table there is a tall pitcher, a shallow dish, utensils, and a small cup. The print has a textured, slightly scratched surface and is framed by margins of blank paper.
