In the left panel a robed figure wearing a crown or headpiece leans over another figure who is bent forward and supported, while a hooded, dark-cloaked figure stands behind them extending an arm toward the doorway beyond. The central panel depicts a kneeling woman with long hair and draped clothing raised arms and a distressed expression as two hooded men bind her hands with rope and chain near a stone well, while another cloaked figure watches from the shadows and two armed figures stand in a distant archway. In the right panel a dynamic scene shows a crowd of men, some wearing helmets and carrying pikes or spears, engaged in pushing and grappling as they surge through an opening toward an exterior landscape visible in the background. The decorative frame includes patterned borders and ornate column capitals, and the overall image features detailed line work and shading.
