On the left a jester-like figure with a pointed hat and curled mustache stands in an animated pose extending one arm and holding a hat outward, wearing a ruffled collar and layered, patterned garments with a sash at the waist. In the center a robed woman leans forward holding a goblet and extending a hand, her cloak draping to the ground and layered skirt visible beneath. To her right a helmeted soldier stands holding a long pole and a shield, his gaze directed toward the woman, while another seated soldier in a helmet sits at the platform edge holding a spear across his lap. A small flag or banner and some indistinct objects lie at their feet, and the background appears softly faded with a suggestion of distant shapes.
