The vessel is open at one end, revealing a dark circular interior rim and exposed bolt holes, and a young person stands inside the opening with one arm raised to touch the rim and the other arm relaxed at their side, wearing a light shirt, light trousers, a belt, and sandals. Above the cylinder a complex assembly of pipes, valves, and gauges is mounted, with chains and rigging hanging from the ceiling nearby. Metal scaffolding and trusses flank the vessel on both sides, and a curved metal support piece rests on the floor in front of the open end. The concrete floor shows industrial wear and scattered small objects, and bright overhead lamps run along one side of the building.
