Both wear a South Indian wrap-around garment (selai or sari) tucked at the waist, the end of which is draped over the shoulder via the back and covers the upper body. Both women have parted their long hair in the middle and pinned back in a bun (condé). The earlobes of each are pierced and stretched. The woman on the left and the woman on the right may be one and the same woman, but drawn twice in a different position.
