The shield surface is divided by diagonal bands forming an X pattern and contains repeated small droplet-shaped motifs within the triangular sections. Two lion figures appear on the shield in a rampant pose, one on each side, and a smaller quartered escutcheon at the shield center shows two mirrored lion figures. The image has a sepia tone and a plain background with a small darker spot near the upper right of the shield.
