The left portrait shows a woman wearing an ornate ruffled high collar and a dark dress decorated with patterned bands and a large jeweled pendant, her hair styled up with decorative hairpieces and a small curl at the forehead, and a composed facial expression. The right portrait shows a woman with long wavy hair falling over one shoulder, wearing a lace-trimmed bodice and a necklace with a pendant, her gaze directed forward and her facial features rendered with fine line work. The surrounding page shows faint rectangular borders and printed blocks of small text beneath the portraits.
