Together with four other series, it forms the large series: 'Il nuovo teatro di Roma moderna'., city-view, and landscape with man-made constructions, hotel, i.e. small palace in city, Palazzo Barberini, A wide engraving of a grand three-storey palace with a central block flanked by matching wings, featuring rows of arched and rectangular windows, decorative cornices, and a roof with small ornamental pinnacles and flagpoles; the central section has a columned ground floor with three large arches leading into a recessed entrance and a balcony above, and a square raised pavilion on the roof; in front of the building is a broad open courtyard with small groups of people walking and interacting, horse-drawn carts and carriages, and a figure leading a team of horses; the sky above shows stylized clouds and horizontal shading lines, and the scene is enclosed within a thin rectangular border.
