Together with four other series, it forms the large series: 'Il nuovo teatro di Roma moderna'., villa, city-view, and landscape with man-made constructions, Frascati, Villa Mondragone, A wide architectural engraving shows a large multi-story palace complex with rectangular windows and decorative cornices, set atop a raised terrace with a balustrade and corner pillars. The central block features towers with pitched roofs and small flags, balconies, and arched entrances, while adjacent wings extend horizontally with rows of evenly spaced windows. In front of the terrace a carriage drawn by horses moves along a road where several pedestrians and mounted figures are depicted. A formal garden with fenced beds and numerous trees occupies the foreground, with pathways and small groups of people walking or standing. The sky above is filled with horizontal hatch lines and scattered clouds, and a distant landscape with low hills and small clustered buildings appears beyond the terrace. The entire scene is rendered in detailed linear etching with fine crosshatching and shading.
