Together with four other series, it forms the large series: 'Il nuovo teatro di Roma moderna'., city-view, and landscape with man-made constructions, hotel, i.e. small palace in city, Palazzo Borghese, A wide engraving of a grand palace complex facing an open square, showing a long multi-story building with rows of windows and a central ornate entrance, a taller corner block with detailed stonework and a rooftop pavilion, and a lower wing with balustrades and decorative roof elements; the square in front contains small groups of people walking, standing, and conversing, some on horseback and a horse-drawn cart at the right edge, with cordoned posts and draped ropes marking part of the plaza; the left side shows adjoining buildings and a narrow street leading away, while the sky above is filled with layered clouds and a few flying birds, and small trees and distant architectural elements are visible beyond the palace.
