Obverse: inscription 'HALB/MARCK' above two heraldic shields with the Eagle and Pogon, below the year '.15' (fragmentary), rim inscription '.MONE.N.ARGENTEA'. Reverse: a griffin with a raised sword turned to the left, separating the rim inscription '. - DVCA, LIVONIA, 1573'. Associated names/figures linked to the coin: Jan Hieronimowicz Chodkiewicz (administrator of Livonia, ca. 1537–1579); Sigismund II Augustus (king of Poland, 1544–1572; interregnum); publishers Hincza Jakub and Iberfeld Walentyn (fl. 1572–1573).
