Obverse: bust of Chosroes II facing right, wearing a crown decorated with two wings, a crescent and a star; to the left a star, to the right a crescent; beads around the neck and a central triangle composed of three dots; two ribbons behind the crown; double pearl rim; crescents with stars behind the rim at bottom and on both sides; Pahlavi inscription. Reverse: a burning altar; at its left the ruler/Arsaces standing upright with a sword; at the right a priest standing upright holding a sword; a star at top left and a crescent at top right; signs/monograms on both sides; triple pearl border with four crescents and stars outside; Pahlavi inscription. 590–628, Persia.
