Bust of Faustina II in drapery facing right, inscription FAVSTINA · AVGVSTA around. Reverse: Salus seated on a throne facing left, in her outstretched right hand she holds a patera from which she feeds a snake coiled around an altar; her left hand rests on the back of the seat, inscription S · ALVS around. Iconography: Salus (personification), snakes, pateras, altars, personifications. Date: 161–176. Roman Empire, Rome. Coin: silver denarius; diameter 17.0 mm; weight 2.85 g; axis 180°.
