Reverse: Venus standing left, holding an apple in her outstretched right hand and a rudder in her left hand, with a dolphin wrapped around the rudder, legend 'V E - NVS'. Iconography includes Roman deities, dolphins, apples, rudders. Date: 147–161. Culture: Roman Empire (27 BC–476). Place: Rome. Object type: coin (denarius).
