Denarius of Marcus Aurelius (121–180; Roman emperor 161–180). Obverse: Bust of Marcus Aurelius in laurel wreath, armor and cloak (paludamentum), facing right, inscription 'M AVREL AN-TONINVS AVG'. Reverse: Fortuna seated left, holding a rudder in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left, a wheel under the seat, inscription 'TR P XXXIIII - IMP X COS III PP'. Iconography: Fortuna, personifications, wheels, rudders, cornucopias. Date: 179–180. Culture: Roman Empire (27 BC–476). Object: coin (denarius). Diameter: 17.0–17.5 mm. Weight: 3.38 g. Axis: 180°.
