Denarius, Marcus Aurelius (121–180; Roman emperor 161–180), issuer: Marcus Aurelius. Obverse: Head of Marcus Aurelius with a laurel wreath to the right, inscription 'ANTONINVS AVG - ARMENIACVS'. Reverse: Personification of Armenia in a short robe, trousers and a pointed cap, seated left; in front of her a shield and a standard (vexillum); she supports her head with her right hand and rests her left on a bow and a quiver, inscription 'PM TR P XVIII IMP II COS III' and legend 'ARMEN.' Episode dated 163–164, Rome, Roman Empire (27 BC–476). Coin; weight 2.90 g; diameter obverse 16.5 mm, diameter reverse 17.5 mm; axis 30°.
