Obverse: head of young Marcus Aurelius without a cap to the right, legend 'AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII F COS'. Reverse: sacred utensils from the left — knife (secespita), sprinkler (aspergillum), jug (capis), crosier (lituus) and dipper (simpulum); legend 'PIETAS AVG'. Date: ca. 140–144 CE. Roman Empire, Rome. Silver coin (denarius), diameter ca. 17.5–18.0 mm, weight 2.88 g, axis 0°.
