Reverse: the emperor in a toga and veil stands left, holding a patera above a tripod with a bull lying behind it, and a scroll in his left hand, legend VOTA • SOL • DEC • II. Iconography includes emperor with a veil, laurel-wreathed head, pateras, tripods, bulls, veils, and scrolls. Dating (for the original): 157–159. Roman Empire (27 BC–476). Coin; diameter ~17.0–17.5 mm, weight 2.9 g, axis 15°.
