Countermarked; Trajan (53–117; Roman Emperor 98–117). Obverse: head of Trajan in radiant crown facing right; rim inscription IMP CAES NER TRAIANO OPTIMO AVG GERM. Reverse: letters SC surrounded by an oak wreath; rim inscription DAC PARTHICO PM TR POT XX COS VI PP. Bucranium (ox skull) countermark, probably made when Trajan's troops were retreating from Parthia. Pierced coin, 114–117. Material: coin; weight 8.85 g. Roman Empire (27 BC–476).
