Obverse: bust of the king with a crown, right profile, wearing the Order of the Golden Fleece, within a rope rim: IOAN.CAS.DGREX POL.& SUEC.MD. Reverse: coat of arms held by two lions, a wreath surrounding a flower at the top, a cartouche dividing the letters DL at the bottom; in a corded rim: MON:AUREA CIVITAT.GEDANEN.1657. Dated 1657. Poland, Gdansk. Coin; weight 3.40 g., A round gold-colored coin with a raised portrait of a person in profile wearing a crown and ornate clothing, showing textured hair and detailed decorative elements around the collar, surrounded by a raised border and decorative edge, with the coin surface showing varied shading and metallic highlights in gold and yellow tones.
