Portrait subject of original: Stanislaw August Poniatowski (King of Poland; 1732–1798 / reigned 1764–1795). Materials/objects: Polish coins; Crown coins; card playing tokens; mint proofs; copies. Obverse: Head of Stanislaw August turned right, around the inscription divided at the bottom: 'STANISLAUS AUG.DGREX POL.MDL' — pearl border. Reverse: Under a crown, decorated with intertwined branches, a five-field coat of arms with the coats of arms of Poland (Eagle), Lithuania (Pogon) and the Poniatowski family (Ciolek); on the sides of the shield: '17' and '7'; signature at the bottom: 'EB' — pearl border. Date of original: 1779. Historical context of original: Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth (1569–1795). Measurements (copy/coin): diameters 21.4 mm and 22.0 mm; weight 3.34 g.
