Gold crown, Stanislaw August Poniatowski (King of Poland; 1764–1795), Polish coin. Obverse: head of Stanislaw August, inscription around the rim: 'STANISLAUS AUG. D G REX POL. MDL'. Reverse: under a crown, a five-field coat of arms with the coats of arms of Poland (Eagle), Lithuania (Pogon) and the Poniatowski family (Ciolek); on the sides the date 17-95; at the bottom letters 'MV' and '4.GR'; around it an inscription divided by a crown: '84½ EX MARCA-PURA COLON'; pearl border; diagonally fluted edge. 1795, Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth (1569–1795), Warsaw, Poland. Coin diameter 26.1 mm and 26.9 mm, weight 5.29 g.
