Bracteate depicting Boleslaw III Krzywousty (Prince of Poland; 1086–1138). In a pearl border, on the left, a kneeling prince shown in profile with hands outstretched toward a standing bishop. Dressed in liturgical vestments, St. Adalbert (ca. 956–997) holds a crosier in his left hand while his right hand rests on the prince's head. Around the rim, in a linear border, is the inscription '+•L•R:EBBEZLAVS.' Romanesque style; 1135–1138. Coin (bracteate), diameter 26.0–27.8 mm, weight 0.58 g.
