Bracteate, 1135–1138. Silver coin (diameter 24.9–26.8 mm; weight 0.63 g). In a pearl border, on the left, facing right, a kneeling prince (Boleslaw III Wrymouth) shown in profile with hands outstretched toward a bishop (St. Adalbert) standing before him. St. Adalbert, dressed in liturgical vestments, holds a crosier in his left hand while his right hand rests on the prince's head. Inscription around the rim in a linear border: +SZREBADSBOLEZLAV. Romanesque; iconography: Boleslaw III Wrymouth, bishop, kneeling prince, gesture of protection, crosier/crosier posts, bishops, martyrs.
