Bracteate depicting Boleslaw III Wrymouth (Prince of Poland; 1086–1138) and St. Adalbert (ca. 956–997); Romanesque, Middle Ages. In a pearl border, on the left side facing right, a kneeling prince shown in profile with hands outstretched toward the bishop standing before him. St. Adalbert, dressed in liturgical vestments, holds a crosier in his left hand while his right hand rests on the prince's head. Inscription +SALRBLEZLAV; dated 1135–1138. Coin (bracteate), Poland (Kraków/Gniezno). Diameter ~24.8–25.8 mm; weight 0.27 g.
