Lithuanian obol, Sigismund II Augustus (King of Poland; 1544–1572), Jagiellonian dynasty. Silver coin (obol) dated 1546 from Vilnius, Grand Duchy of Lithuania/Poland. Obverse: in the rim under the ducal mitre a tied monogram composed of the letters S A R w; in the rim a shield with the Columns of Gediminas coat of arms; on the sides the year 1546 (5 - 46). Diameter approx. 11.7–13.0 mm; weight 0.25 g.
