Obverse: within a beaded border, a knight in chain mail thrusting a spearhead into the jaws of an upside-down dragon — allegorical fight between good and evil / fight against pagans; imagery includes knight, chain mail, spear/spearhead, dragon, jaws; Romanesque style, martyrs/knights motif, Saint Adalbert referenced. Reverse: within a triple beaded border, an isosceles cross topped with balls (two balls bear a dot each; one arm effaced and one quarter missing due to coin defect); at the intersection a ball with a dot; remaining fields contain balls (one dot each; one quarter missing due to defect). Ca. 1125–1138, Kraków, Poland. Coin; diameter 10.5–11.8 mm; weight 0.12 g.
