Obv.: within a beaded border, a knight in chain mail thrusting a spearhead into the jaws of an upside-down dragon; a ball under the knight's right elbow. Rv.: within a triple beaded border, an isosceles cross topped with balls (three of them with one dot each); at the intersection of the arms, a ball with a dot; between the arms, single balls each with one dot. Allegorical imagery: knights, dragons, fight between good and evil, fight against pagans; motifs include spear(s), equal-armed cross, chain mail. Romanesque style. Associated figures: Adalbert (St.; ca. 956–997). Date: ca. 1125–1138. Place: Poland, Kraków. Medium: coin (denarius). Diameter: 12.4–12.9 mm. Weight: 0.44 g.
