Av.: In a linear border, a knight in chain mail thrusting a spearhead into the jaws of an upside-down dragon; a ball beneath the knight's right elbow. Rv.: In a triple beaded border, an isosceles cross topped with balls; a single sun between its arms. Allegorical Romanesque imagery evoking knights, dragons, martyrs, the fight between good and evil and against pagans; motifs include equal-armed cross, crosses, spearhead (issue mark), chain mail, mouths.
