Av.: In linear border, a knight in chain mail thrusting a spearhead into the upside-down jaws of a dragon; a ball by the knight’s left foot. Rv.: In triple beaded border, an equal-armed (isosceles) cross topped with balls; between its arms three suns (one with a dot) and one ball with a dot; one arm intersects the other at ˜1/3 of its length. Romanesque style; iconography: Adalbert/St. and theme of fight between good and evil/ fight against pagans; motifs include spearhead, spears, crosses, chain mail, knights, dragons. Coin, Poland (Kraków), diameter ~12.1–12.5 mm, weight 0.58 g.
