Denarius of Boleslaw III Krzywousty (prince of Poland, c. 1107–1138). Obverse: in a linear border, a knight in chain mail thrusting a spearhead into the jaws of an upside-down dragon. Reverse: in a triple beaded border, an isosceles cross topped with balls (two of them with one dot each); between its arms, one ball (two of them with one smaller dot each); one arm intersects the other at approximately 1/3 of its length.
