Obverse: in the beaded border, a knight in chain mail thrusting a spearhead into the jaws of an upside-down dragon; a sun beneath the knight's right elbow. Reverse: in the triple beaded border, an isosceles cross topped with balls; at the intersection of the arms a ball; between the arms one ball (with a dot on each); one arm intersects the other at approximately one-third of its length. Allegorical Romanesque style; imagery includes knight, dragons, fight between good and evil, martyrs, spears, Adalbert (Saint; ca. 956–997). Issue mark: spearhead. Date c. 1125–1138. Poland, Kraków.
