Lithuanian half-thaler (mezzo ducato with countersignature), Sigismund II Augustus (King of Poland; 1544–1572) — countersignature by Giovanni Battista Ravaschiero (fl. 1525–1560), publisher; mezzo ducato for Philip II Habsburg (King of Naples and Sicily; 1554–1598). Obverse: male bust in armour turned right, inscription in rim: PHILIPP.REX ARA.VTRI.; left in coin field the mintmaster's tied monogram composed of letters IBR Rw. Crowned oval decorative multi-field heraldic shield; rim inscription divided at top: SICIL.ET HIERVSAL. Reverse: countersignature of King Sigismund Augustus — in the rim under the crown a tied monogram composed of letters SA divides the year 15–64. Dates: 1554–1560/1564. Places: Grand Duchy of Lithuania (countersignature), Vilnius (countersignature), Kingdom of Naples (1282–1816) / Naples (mezzo ducato), Poland.
