Obverse: male bust turned right with beard and sideburns, wearing a bonnet and coat with a wide collar; rim inscription +FRIDERI.DGDVX.SLESI.LEGENICZ.BRIGEN. Reverse: four-field coat of arms of the Duchy of Legnica–Brzeg topped with a jewel with labres; rim inscription VERBVM.DOMINI.MANET.IN.ETERNVM.I54Z. Depicts Frederick II (Duke of Brzeg–Legnica; 1480–1547); iconography includes busts of the ruler and coats of arms. Silver coin (thaler), dia. 40.8 mm, weight 28.69 g, axis 45°.
