Denarius of Faustina the Younger (ca. 130–176; Roman empress 161–176) issued under Marcus Aurelius (121–180; Roman emperor 161–180). Obverse: draped bust of Faustina II facing right, inscription FAVSTINA·AVGVSTA. Reverse: draped throne (pulvinar) on which two children—twins Commodus and Antoninus—are seated, inscription SAECVLI·FELICIT. Date: 161–176. Roman Empire, Rome. Coin; silver; weight 3.28 g; diameter ~17.5–18.0 mm; axis 180°.
